Local Storage

  • Scraped Reddit comments are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API
  • Scraping history is stored locally to help you track which posts you've already scraped
  • Your preferences and settings are stored locally

Remote Storage (Supabase)

We use Supabase (our backend service) to store:

  • Your user account information (email, name, profile picture)
  • Authentication tokens
  • Subscription status and payment information
  • Usage statistics (total scrapes count, comments extracted)

This data is stored to:

  • Manage user authentication
  • Track subscription status and enforce plan limits
  • Provide subscription management features
  • Sync your account across devices

Google Services

When you use the Google OAuth sign-in or export features:

  • We request access to your Google email and profile information for authentication
  • We may request access to Google Drive/Docs if you choose to export comments to Google Docs
  • These permissions are only used when you explicitly choose to sign in or export to Google services

Your Rights and Controls

Access and Export

  • You can view all your locally stored data through the extension interface
  • You can export your scraped comments to CSV, JSON, or Google Docs at any time

Data Deletion

  • Local Data: You can clear all locally stored data through the extension settings or by uninstalling the extension
  • Account Data: You can request account deletion by contacting us at contact@ezfycode.com
  • Upon account deletion, we will delete your account information within 30 days

Manage Permissions

  • You can revoke Google OAuth permissions at any time through your Google account settings
  • You can revoke extension permissions through Chrome's extension settings

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do:

  • We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
  • For material changes, we will notify users through the extension interface
  • Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy

Children's Privacy

Reddit Scraper is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
